New single Mirrorball Stars - out September 4th!
While the previous Acres Wild single The Sun is Shining conveyed that carefree feeling of an early summer day, the follow-up Mirrorball Stars takes on the melancholia of a late summer night. You act like you hate the club, the people, and the music. But you’re really just thinking about that one person you wish was there.

Oslo quintet Acres Wild has been drawing inspiration from power pop, post-rock and lofi. But most of all delivering concise and highly irresistible three minute guitar pop songs. Their upcoming album Appropriate Music drops in September. Appropriate Music is made from the idea that the «extra ordinary» can also become extraordinary. Sometimes what you want isn’t the fastest or the loudest, but the appropriate.
This years first single The Sun is Shining gained praise from Clash Magazine and got listed on NRK P3.
The bands 2016 single Line of Sight was included in Spotify Fresh Finds and reached #13 on the Viral USA Chart!. Their 2017 single Falling Out of Love Again was included in Spotify International Weekly Buzz.
The saddest thing I know is being on a club when you´re not in the mood for the way too many-, too happy people and the way to loud-, too happy music. Still the song is actually quite optimistic. Cause missing someone who’s out of town will always have something positive to it. - Magnus Askjer Lefsaker (Song Writer / Vocals)
